Rep Power: 0 Hey Josh, In porting out the Exhaust Header, what angle is reccomended to create a smooth non turbulent flow of air, 45 Deg, or more, perhaps 60 Deg. Or from a different prospective, how deep should the header be ported in, 5mm, 10mm, ???
Thanks, I am getting one of your custom header gaskets too, so I might just try to do this myself with a Dremel Tool, unless I go too far & need a bit of welding, eh!

Rep Power: 0 Geeze, so many things that need to be done. What about the Intake gasket? Will the combo come with that port matched also?

Rep Power: 0 i know i should read the whole post, so please spare me this time my head hurt. dh will you have this in stock like 2-3 wks, the custom manifold and billet throttle. this package does not require me to send anything for you to work on. is it ok to use it without having the turbo, cause i rather do this and just by the sf turbo and do some plug and play.
this is probably a repeated question but there are so much to read, so agian thanks for sparing me.

Rep Power: 0 That is a good question about the port matched intake gasket, I have soon coming to me a P&P head & custom Intake / TB combo. But I have already purched the intake gasket. I don't think any modifications will have to be made to it, well Josh has not mentioned any, I would like to know this too. So Josh if you are out there...
Thanks Bud.
Thanks Bud.

Rep Power: 0 Anyone dyno before and after yet? I don't understand why the companies don't show a proven dyno chart first. I would be damned to spend $600 on something not yet proven.

Rep Power: 0 It's not the idea of not proven. It's kind of like, if a company made something that could guarantee 40 hp on another car........it's the reputation that they hold that gives me the security that I'm not getting screwed.

Rep Power: 0 KMS hasn't been building Honda since 1990 before anyone to record had been doing it. We have 15 years in testing theories and the D17 is no different then the typical small bore, big stroke SOHC motors of the past.

Rep Power: 0 It's not hard. Really looks like more then you think. Just make sure the water port is where it supposed to and not shooting in the intake manifold and you should be safe hehe. I will give you my UPS account number to ship the manifold back.

Rep Power: 0 That would make it around 10 AM here, and I work till 5 and 6 am hard. Plus from about 8 am on I am woke up with phone calls, so most likely I was just laying in bed trying to get 30 minutes of solid sleep. No biggies I love the job, just what people have to deal with hehe.

Let me know how your project turns out, I wish you luck. I had plans for headwork to be done by DH this past winter, but went with an NX kit instead. I still have DH in mind though and I'm looking for an extra engine as we speak.
