OEM Head Gasket

I found out that i possibly have some head gasket damage cause of my anti-freeze shooting out of my overflow tank threw the plastic cap leaving white residue on my hood and ic piping, and i was going to buy an oem head gasket for 15 bucks. But its from an ex and i am not sure if it will fit my hx. So my question is, will it fit?

Yes, they are the same. The surface on the head as well as the deck are identical between vtec and non vtec.

i was thinking the same. i don't think replacing the gasket will fix your problem. you may want to have a test done to see if you have any leaking cylinder(s).
