Okay after the exhuast gases enter the turbo spin the blades of the turbine how exactly are they routed out? I know through a downpipe but I really don't understand how the exaust gasses used to spin the turbine are released into the actual exhuast. I guess the big reason is the turbo just has 1 entrance and 1 exit.

So if you could please post some pictues because I'm really confused right about now. Pictures would be very helpful in the learning procsess.

the same way the intake side sux it in through the fan, the fan turns, and compresses it and it sends it through the pipes, the exhaust comes out the cylinder, spins the fan and comes out the turbo through the fan and then into the DP, the excess gasses that cant go through the turbo are released either into the open or the DP, depending on internal or external wastegate

it has 2 entrances and 2 exits. 1 entrance and exit on each half. One half it where the exhaust gasses spool thru to power the turbo and the other half is where the clean air is sucked in and forcably pushed out and into the IC piping. Turbonetics turbo's like mine clearly show which side is which. The clean air (boost) side is chromed and the exhaust side is rough dark iron. here's a pic

Okay I know how a Turbocharger works but I dont understand how the exhaust gets into the down pipe.

I think your question was already answered. Anyways, when the turbo spools up it sends the exhaust gases to the downpipe and the turbo spinning creates a vacuum which sucks the air into the intake.

i thought a turbo compress's and sends exhaust gases back into the engine ???
