you only need to change the wiring harnesses if you want your reverse lights to work, thats the only difference well thats what my mechanic told me

sorry to resurrect the post, but elite, did you have to get a ton of misc. bolts, washers, gaskets, etc?

also what about clutch hydraulic lines, clutch reservoir, and intermediate shaft? thanks

I'm also interested in this swap, if someone could do a write-up or knows where a write-up would be; posting that would be great. I have a 01 LX with 106k, it just had the infamous tranny failure. I'm looking at a manual conversion as a potentially cheaper and more reliable solution.

Could someone tell me what manual trans is stock in the 01 LX? It's a sedan, if that matters.

600 for a manual tranny for a d17 is expensive.. for an extra 400 u couldve gotten a fell k20 swap.. well atleast around where i live lmao
