Yes, the non type-s RSX DOES have a k20. It may have the same displacement (2.0 liters) as the type-s version but it is only rated at 160Hp instead of 200HP. This difference is due to a higher compression and a different cylinder head design with a more advanced i-vtec (in the type-s).
The K24 is very similar to the K20. This is apparent in the "K series" designation. It has a displacement of 2.4 liters. I think you can catch on to Honda's naming scheme. It gets this larger 2.4 liter displacement by utilizing a longer stroke. This typically gives more bottom end torque at the expense of high RPM horsepower. It also has different variations like the one found in the CRV and the one in the TSX.

To answer the mans question
The K20 engine is a 2 liter engine available in 3 different forms: the K20A is in the Japanesse Integra (RSX) Type-R which makes 220 hp, the K20A2 is in the RSX Type-S which makes 200 hp and the K20A3 is in the base RSX and Civic Si which makes 160 hp
The K24 is a 2.4 liter engine that is used in many Honda and Acura cars such as the new Acura TSX, CR-V, Element and the Accord. Right now there is only 1 K24 engine and thats the K24A1 which makes 160 hp and 162 ft-lbs of torque which is a good bit of torque for a Honda

^^^^^^you got everything right but one thing. There are two K24 motors that I can think of. The K24A1 out of the CRV, Accord, and Element which make 160hp and 162 tq. And the K24A2 out of the TSX. It makes 200hp and 165 tq.

k24 pretty much comes in all the other hondas except for the odessey, civic and insight... and maybe the pilot.. but in the hondas, the k24 puts out 160hp and not sure how much torque, its 2.4L not sure if it has a single cam ivtec like the k20a3 or dual cam ivtec like the rsx type s

the K24 in the CRV, Accord, and Element are DOHC with VTEC on the intake cam only like the K20A3 in the SI. The K24 in the TSX is basically the K24 block with the k20A2 head on it. So it is a DOHC with VTEC on both intake and exhaust cams.
^^^yep. If you add up all of these posts, you have ALL the answers to your original question. Atl01, you now know what the engine's names are, what power they output, and what cars they are found in.

the TSX has 200hp and 165ft lbs but the accord and the CR-V and the Element have 160hp and 160ft lbs the bigest differnce between the motors is conprestion, and dicplacment with the K20, go to www.kbb.com to find some more info
The K24 from the hondas (Accord, insight, element, etc) is a lot more common than one from a tsx.
I would buy a K24 from one of those and a RSX-S head and swap it on.
Probably cheaper and easier to find, but you never know, sometimes you can find good deals. An Acura engine is probably going to be more expensive, because of the name.
