i spent what i wanted to spend on what i got. i did a swap, i put JE pistons in the swap, ive asked people on this site who has paftermarket pistons yet and i got a answer of someone but they took them out, and to this date i am the first person JE made custom pistons for for this car. i spent what i spent and i have the capability of going higher whp, but for now its at 215 i didnt say ne one has to like it, bc i like it and thats all that matters

no offense... but for like 8k total investment beetween stafford and dhracing you could have ran like up to 25psi on the motor, and when running like 15psi you would have hit 12's... imo.... WAY TOO MUCH invested.. and just being the first one with JE pistons isnt worth paying that much, they arent even that good of pistons compared to some of the newer companies to jumpo in the import scene like Weisco etc....

You have all the tools to turn up that boost when your ready and get 300whp
Futureswap you act like 25 psi is a common thing but yet you misunderstand turbo compressor maps and there they are not effiecent anymore. Not all turbos are created equal and not all can run 25 psi to make power. There is always a limiting factor.
I know you worship these vendors but you sound like and *** when you have no idea what your talking about other than relaying info you've read on internet sites.
Another note, Wiseco does not have the quality that JE does. If you really want nice pistons CP's are the way to go. They are by far the best I've sold and Wiseco doesn't come close.
Winston cup all use CP and there quality is top notch.
happy boosting

and nascar uses JE .My prefrance is the new aries piston thier lighter and stronger and the quality of the machining looks better!JE used to be the best on the market hands down ,but when a company becomes more intersted in profit over product well we all know that one!
not to nock CP they do make sweet pistons and they are top notch as well.

whether people like it or not i spent want i spent and its gone, i am entitled to my opinion and i dont like the looks of ANY other kit. i pieced mine together to get the best of all worlds. and yes i do have the capabilities to crank the boost up another 10 psi, and yes i know ill have to mess with timing and race gas and all that, so in my opinion not all was wasted according to some. and JE certainly did me just fine. and when i started this whole thing there wasnt a kit out there, a manifold or nothing
C2i0v0i1c, I commend you on the work you've done on your car. Its your money, and you can do with it as you please. Arias, CP, JE, Ross, Wiseco they are all good companies with quality products you cant go wrong with either of them it all comes down to preference.

Just though I'd share my opinion... because **** gets rediculous around here.
First off... I never heard C2i0v0i1c say that he was proud that he has the first set of custom JE pistons. Second... he is not giving a price of what his car is using. The price is basically for almost 2 full custom kits. So based on what is on his car... it's not $11,400. He has enough fuel with proper injectors to make high boost if he wants, with little modification. His numbers are good. His piping is awesome. And rsxswap... how can you say that SF makes the best like you know it. You can only assume until you've had every other kit installed on your car. Or even a kit at that. As far as 25psi... I doubt you will see that with the T3. That thing would be so overheated anyway. Even if you could... let's see the engine even handle that with no change on the ignition and timing. Even with a DH head... there is still alot of work that would have to be done, and who know if the block would handle it... I doubt it. Don't forget that this is SOHC and the timing has got to be an issue at some point.
I think that instead of knocking on C2i0v0i1c, we should all be giving him props. I had a tough time as it was and I know the **** you have to go through. Fact is that I know that for him it was at least twice as tough. So for him... I say good job.

yea we all have our bumps in the road to face.. and some of us learn the hard way when we try to be different.. and some of us get screwed by other people we thought we can trust.... dont knock someone whose tryin to go his own way.. dont flame on him cause he's not jumpin on the SF wagon... i mean im waiting for my SF kit as we speak... but everyone does their own thing.. let him do his.

I had to re-read your post three times to understand your jiberish.
Now to the matter. WHO cares what he paid!
Its his car let him spend his money how he likes. Again your reasoning towards me has too many fallacies. If I drove a honda you wouldn't try using that against me. Another one of those "who cares what I drive" statements. It fasts enough to hit 11's now anyway whether you like the body of the car or not.
If my honda had 378whp like my SRT-4 does you wouldn't keep bringing that up.
lease: I know how turbo kits work, hell the shop I work for custom makes turbo kits. I like them a lot better than mass produced kits because you can tailor them to each car.
You can also spend more time making sure each part was built correctly.
I'll say that SF does indeed make a good kit. I have not seen anyone else use another kit so at this time yes they would be top dog on this 7thgen turbo market.
The guy is happy with his investment. His car has 215whp which is a lot more than 99% of this board. A lot of people need baby steps to understand how their car works and how to get more power with what they have currently.
Whether this is his case or anyone elses is up to the owner.
Happy boosting.
