Yes, try reading the whole thread. The maxrev kit sucks so I sent it back which they don't ant to accept because they know it won't ever sell. So I ordered an SF kit with some other goodies.

Turbo has arrived. It is in the process of being installed. Will be done tomorrow. I will post pics of the setup and possibly a pic of my timeslip after going to the track tomorrow

But truth be told, I would like to see someone elses experiance with the SF kit, and because of Catalysts 13 second run, I will be purchasing this kit in the future.

A turbo isn't like an engine, it doesn't need to be broken in. The only thing it needs to do is get seated correctly before it's ran hard and that only takes about 30 miles. There's a whole nother thread on this.

Yeah, for everyone who doesn't think I'll be able to break into 13's, your all probably right, yeah, right on the money
lease:
Anyways, iamboo, you may not have to hack up your viper with the air to air ic either. I don't know if it's the same on your's but I have about a 3" clearance b/w the bumper and a/c condensor. The air to air from SF is only about 3" thick so if you do have that much clearance, it'll be a perfect fit
I have to give mad props to Catalyst and SFPower. These guys are awesome and they definitely know their stuff. I would definitely recommend this kit over anything else on the market, trust me, you won't get the quality nor the support that these guys will give you, they are both truly amazing. Thanks a million guys

Is this even going to be a fair race to begin with???I thought it was base kit vs base kit...Not upgraded kit vs base kit. I'll still race, but its not going to be fair at all. I know andy will run ice in his intercooler, which I have no problem with, but I have an air-air intercooler so right there he has a big advantage...and then alcohol injection????Do I have alcohol injection??? No. Ill still race, but i already know that I will probably lose...
Tell me what you don't like about yourself....

it's like running a N/A k20 against a N/A d17, its just not fair.

The SF is superior because it has the ability of being upgraded.
This entire competition is pointless anyways because the SF kit owns all. We are now up to 2 people so far who haven't been able to fit the maxrev kit into their engine bays. I doubt zinkyroo will be able to even install his kit.

Screw that. A race is a race and whoever wins has the better setup and better driver. If he is willing to spend more to get the best performance out of his kit, then more power to him.

Anywho, I wasn't planning on running with ice, I was going to use roome temp ice and boost at whatever psi he wants to boost at. And no, I won't use alcohol injection. I don't even need it until I'm at around 9 lbs. If he wants to run at 7 lbs, that's fine with me, I am not going to use ice in the intercooler. This is not a slow kit, you saw catalyst ran a 13.6 on 9 lbs with a fmic.
