in most places, taking off the cat is illegal bigtime. Down here we have no smog laws so its okay. But a random tech hi flow converter should be fine anywhere.

well when i go for the emissions i will take this out and put the stock one back. i know with this on the car will naver pass the emissions.

my question is if i get pulled over cop find out that i dont hve cat.....then ????? do i get ticket or wat?? if i get ticket then how much???

I don't get it? does it not have a cat, is it just a striaght pipe? if so yeah, that's big trouble, I'm not from your area, but here that's a 1,000 fine. B ut it looks like it has a cat, so you could probably get away with it, unless they take it off, which I highly doubt they would do since it looks like there is a cat.

I've driven without a cat many times, never once been inspected for that. Ohio has more cops than anyother state too, but maybe they really care about that kind of thing over there.

cops are known to search for a cat and can give you a big ticket for not having one.

yes it looks like it has cat...but it just striaght pipe in side.. some one told me register my car in.....ken county and should be no prob. i hve to open up po box and register my car to their. now i hve to find out how do all that ****...

That product from ebay is not a cat, its just a test pipe or a "high flow cat". if you put that on your car its illegal in the sense that you're polluting the air. in illinois, the cops will pull you over for having a loud exhaust (which will be the case since you're making your exhaust less restrictive). however, the cops will not actually do a roadside check on your vehicle if they pull you over, they'll do that in California not Illinois.

got it installd after talking some cops that i know........said its ok.... no one gone look under your car...dont want get our uniform durty lol...

told me problem wil be only when i go for emis... didnt sound loud as i was thinking...thats good. sound much better...

yes it take off faster then before.......and it sound real mean........and before when vtac kicks in theirs was lit jerk...but not any more...
