Oh yeah I will be bumping the thread every couple of weeks until the meet so no one thinks this thing is a flake.

You don’t see Honda-Tech.com up on there do you…lol Yeah there will always be a “cocky as$hole” but this isn’t a club were I can check everyone… wish I could tho. Yeah I put friendly meet just to make it sound better for the mature people to come out. You’re added to the list too.

It been several days without an update so… the way things are going this should be big! After this web-sites should be hiring me for this kind of stuff lol! just kidding.

Okay what is going on is that this event is going on called the Import Experience is on the same day (Sunday August 20th, 2006). Well (I love this part) the meet has been getting so much publicity it's taking people away from the Import Experience show. The guy that is running this show contacted me and he wanted to make a deal with me. The deal was, he would provide a good amount of chips and drinks for the meet if moved back a week (Sunday August 27th, 2006). So I took him up on the offer and now maybe we could use the 5 bucks to get better hamburgers. Everything has been smooth so far and no one has complained about the date. What do ya’ll think?

Hey man that's cool. The cheaper the cost the more people will be enticed to come out to the meet. And the more food we have already provided the better. I have no problem with pushin it back a week. It gives me more time to get my ride situated at fixed. Matter of fact I just ordered some B+G springs and Bilstein shocks. Next on the list is Powerslots and SS Brake lines.

Yeah I am a member of two Volvo sites but last time I posted about the previous meet we had. No one even viewed the damn thread I posted. I'll post again for this meet. Hopefully SOMEONE will read the thread and come out.

WOW! I got to drive my mom's boyfriend's 05 C6 Vette! It started out with him asking me if he could borrow some tire gel to get rid of a curb mark. When he asked me if I wanted to take it for a spin I almost forgot to say yes! He's got the ECU remapped which reset the speed governer at 205mph! And a 3" cat back plus headers. Let me tell you I damn near nutted on my self when I saw how fast the numbers were increasing on the HUD. I never really cared for Vettes that much but his is fvcking orgasmic! Satellite radio, handsfree phone hooked up to the stereo, push button ignition! Anyways just thought I'd share my first and probably only time I'll ever get to drive a Vette.

I am almost positive that this will go past 70 cars. I received an e-mail from the guy running the Import Experience Car Show updating me on this stuff (of course posted only on this site since this my home site).....

Which brings me to my big question??? -Who knows how to make a simple but eye catching flyer? I am willing to put down a little of my personal funds to make this work. But I need some one who is creative and can send (e-mail) me something I can print of and sent to Kinko’s. Please help as soon as possible.

Are you wanting like a colored flyer(more expensive) a black & white flyer, or just text or what? I just bought Photoshop Creative Suite and want to see what it can really do so I'll see what I can do as far as the flyers go. Well that really sucks! I just realized that classes start for me the next day! Ohh well, it's not like we're going to be out all eveing and I'm sure I'm not the only one whose classes start on Monday. Damn where has this summer gone?

If each person would help just a little in some way this could be one of the best meets yet!

1) No alcohol of any kind. Let us repeat: NO alcohol. Drugs will NOT be allowed as well.

2) No repetitive revving engines or sounding your car horns. (If just got a new exhaust or something and someone wants to hear how it sounds, that’s cool, but to just sit there and rev your car over and over again for no reason, not cool, just stupid, that’s just how I feel, I’m sorry

3) Please watch your speed as you enter and exit the park from the street. Please be sure to pay attention to how you enter the exit the parking lot. Be alert at all times. Even if you are on the far side of the lot from the meet.

4) Please watch your trash. If you need to throw something away, please place in the dumpsters. Do not leave trash on the ground.

5) There will be a diverse mix of cars and people. This environment is a friendly one. Automotive enthusiasts drive many different kinds of cars, and come from many different back grounds. PLEASE RESPECT OTHERS.

6) No street racing at or near the meet or mixing races with the meet. This is a very fast way to lose the meet. We do not condone street racing. We ask you kindly not to do it ANYWHERE near the meet.

7) No burn/peel outs. No reckless driving No drifting or attempts to drift. We all like to show off are new toys, but please don't use that new turbo here.

8) Please respect other peoples cars by not leaning or touching them if its not your car.

9) Please no parking on the grass.

10) Have fun
