Yesterday i was offered a job at best buy working part time making $10hr. as a computer tech.. today i was offered a job somewhere else not sure what they do yet, but its $12hr and 40hrs a week. i really want to work at best buy, dicounts, working with customers, and being around all of the gadgets i love! i really dont know what to do.. everyone tells me to go with the 12hr job, but im not sure if im going to like it there. i will be making more money per month and more hours since its full time vs. part time. i start tomorrow at the other job, and bestbuy on sunday, so i am going to go into both and see how i like'em.. let me know what you guys think i should do im so confused!!!


oh did i mention if i work at bestbuy i will only have 200 extra per month ( thats if they give me at least 32 hours since its part time) after bills, paymets etc, and the other job i will have around $500-$600 extra.

see im not sure how many hours they will be giving me at bestbuy my first day is sunday.. since its part time the may only give me 20hrs and i wont be able to afford my ride with that money.. so i gotta see whats up on sunday..

How did you get the job at Best Buy? What were the requirements to get that position? I'm going to school for Networking, so just curious in knowing what was asked of you from them. But I would go with Best Buy too!!

go with the job that you will enjoy... if you take a job just for the money, you're gonna be miserable and stressed out all the time... and we can't have that on the so. cal boards... so yea... choose wisely young grasshopper..

i really want to do it!! but the other jobs pay and hours is a little more tempting.. i am going to try to see if i can do both. one job durring the day, and bestbuy on nights and weekends..

I'd probably go with the higher pay.

at the end.. best buy may be a better enviornment.. but work is work..

think hard. thats quite a difference in money.

why don't you do both jobs. Since best buy is only hiring you for part time give them some restrictions on when you can work. Tell them you don't want to work a lot. You will be happy with the discount at best buy and also the 12 dollar an hour pay

Stay away from best buy. I have a friend who works there and some friends who used to work there and they treat their employees like dirt. They make them work off the clock or at lunch sometimes and unless you sell their product protection plans they wont give a crap about you.

All you will be doing is forcing a product onto people that don't want it. Then again it is all up to you. I personally like being treated liek a human being.

When I was at my old school, this guy I knew worked at best buy and got TVs with a big discount. He would mad buy stuff and sell it... haha.. illegal ish...
