The housing is gunmetal.

Buckshizzo was telling me that he had to modify the turn signal holes because these were made for the sedans and that password jdm doesn't sell one specifically for coupes.

I guess the sedan and coupe's design is slightly different with the turn signal holes. I believe they are OEM.. the word HONDA is on the headlight shell.
Gotta give props to buckshizzo!

Yes, the chrome is a bit darker, but I'm sure the lighting quality isn't really affected. I just ordered smoked foglights to match these.. hopefully, they are the same lol

dude! i always wanted to retrofit some projectors in my headlights! kk you got me jealous now.

oh i still have alot of kitchen and bath sealant left over. i used them to seal up my headlights when i blacked them out 2 years ago and still hasn't fogged up yet.

Ahh, i c... I hate how mine came out. Still fogging up. And I'm worried that the rain may have either caused more fog or may have caused some rain leakage into the damn headlights... I'll check in a few hours.. gonna go back to sleep! haha

btw - are all headunits pretty much the same? in other words, would a new one give me better sound or is it all in the speakers?

pretty much all headunits are the same. the only difference is the features it has. any headunit will make your speakers sound better because they amplify the sound a little more

yupp most aftermarket headunits are better than stock, so u dont need to worry about that. and all size are the same, unless u get like dvd players and stuff built in. i bought mines because i liked the color it outputted since it matched my interior and it wasnt bad. so its all up to what u want.

personally i think the stock speaker system kind of sucks at higher volumes. the sound isnt as crisp - i already have a panasonic headunit that came with the car, but it doesn't play mp3s nor does it have an aux input -
maybe instead of wanting to get a newer headunit, i should get aftermarket speakers?
