200sx se vs. 2k3 lx

I was goin to a club with my friends and we get stopped at a light, my friend is following me, and I am in the left lane, he pulls in the right lane and revs his car. I look at him and laugh. He has exhaust, intake and some crap computer chip. he always says that his cars faster than mine so I said what the hell. The light turns green and I hear his weedwacker motor revin up and I go at avout 3000rpms. I pulled really hard on him until about 6700 then I shift and left him. He has a 1996 200sx se stick (intake, exhaust, chip), and I have a 2003 civic lx stick (stock). this was on an empty 2 lane road at 11:30 at night without another car in sight, so no flamin, ok.

right now, I'm driving my sister's 97 sentra (basically a 200sx with 4 doors). It accelerates slow as f**k, and the stick has a longer throw than the civic. Definitely not meant for quick acceleration.
