I love that SIR, there weren't many in the markert when I was buying my car. There was one but it was red with high mileage. That is one sick car even in its stock form.
3200$ shipped frieght .. 30,000 to 50,000 km on the engine... jhpusa.com the obd1 version is on sale right now the sir1 ... same spec just obd1 and cable tranny for 2000 yah it was expensive but it blows usdm b16s out of the damn water ..
lol yah my car is light specially since i have no airbags no back seat no heater core no a/c no power steering pump and all the power steering lines ripped out lol very light and the lsd is just awsome its a total diff drivin a my car with lsd and a Si without it i kill everyone on the launch
Heh...nice ride, but i wouldn't go as far as saying that K-series engines are overrated.
2.0 > 1.6
K20A2 swapped into an EK hatch...now that's a fast ride
"In with the new, out with the old" =P

yah but who puts em in ek's.... ek's are all about the b series .. cause we dont need custom motor mounts and all that jaz... and it soo much easier to find a b series block than a k series for cheap if u boost and blow... thats just my view on it but yah a k series in a ek would wreck...
p.s. 6thgen has a big wieght advantage over 7th sry guys lol

^i agree, but k series has much more potential than b series and produce more power overall. but id personally would do a B swap over a K in reality because its so rare to get hands on a K nowadays. after couple more years, than the K would be around more.
When i had my RSX auto and was stock I lost to my friends manual 7thgen by about half a car...same night from a roll and sportshifting i beat him by a few cars on top end. When i modded with i/h/e & hondata he was 2-3 cars behind me consistently, now that i traded in for an S and modded with again i/h/e & hondatahe won't even run me he says
There are many timeslips on ClubRSX w/ autos running 16.1-16.2 sportshift...stock 5-speed runs 15.7, same for Civic Si.
I think the Civic driver would have to be very very very good at shifting to even take an RSX auto in sportshift...now in auto mode, different story, i could see a Civic maual winning. D17's dont really get anything from bolt ons so they don't really figure in.
