Friday night I was driving to my girls house when her younger brother pulled up next to me in his girls stock gs eclipse. He loves my car and drove it many times and always said ill burn you with his girls stock automatic eclipse. I was alone he was with his girl their combined weight is about 270lbs he's madd skinny and she's a small girl. I weigh about 215lbs. So the light was red and I had my foot on the brake and revving to 2500 rpm's because I'm auto, the eclipse is auto too but he just waited for the light to turn. I took off on him and in front of us is a huge S turn, I turned like no other (the tein s-techs are good but shyt i thought i was gonna do a 180. at the next light he wanted to go again cause he lost the first one. the second time we went off a roll and he had me by 1 and half cars and i was pulling to him. my Vtec and Venom was kicking in. We both saw a cop on the other side of the blvd and we both slowed down and had to turn on to a side street quickly, cause that cop definitly saw us racing. It was fun I defintly will do it again with him somewhere were we wont get caught and have a run were we can see whos faster, and ill let you's know what happens.

yea when i first installed it shyt that **** would kick in and i'de pull like crazy but after i put my aem pullies on it doesn't work as good as it did without the pullies but it still pulls....

I beat the hell out of a gs eclipse but mine is standard his was automatic and i have obx headers venom 400 tsudo exhaust and injen intake so he was to much trouble i think u can kick his *** dude good luck

i beat my friend in his 99 eclipse all the time we are both 5 spd with intake and exhaust.

i broke off the new body GS auto but mine had the intake comming out of the head light with a mesh screen for a filer with some descent tires.. beat him by 5 cars at the most.. oh and i dont have vtec.

I would think you should be winning easily against an auto stock eclipse.

I races my friends 97 GSX this past weekend on a nice stretch of road. He has an aftermarket intercooler and automatic. We started at a 20 mph roll. When I hit third he was in the rear view. We need to adjust his turbo cause it just wasnt spooling at all. His 1/4 mile right now is 16.8. Pretty sucky

The venom kit is an awesome mod if you dont have v tec i dont know if you have v tec if it will still be as awesome but i recommend it its pretty much like a v tec

What is the venom doing when it kicks in? And I cannot find Vtec Valve Covers where did you get that blue one. I am a noob.

The venom kinda acts like an extra vtec it gives u an extra pull, my valve cover i painted myself.

Yeah like around 5000 rpms the venom kicks in my isnt v tec and you can feel when it kicks in and just paint the valve cover with any paint and then get clear coat that can handle 500 degrees thats what i did on mine and no problems yet.
