Rep Power: 307 POST-WRAP UP from checkin out the 7thGen w/K20!!!
Oh man...haha looks like i'm the first to give a briefing. Me and a few other 7th geners went to check out the finished product. We saw htown there eagerly waiting for his car and when it was done, all of us were excited! Me, civicsoulda(chacho), civic hx(andrew), ak(alex), silver02civic(enreque), wd40 and some other peeps went to check it out. We were gonna meet him at ikea in industry but a few probs came up with the engine. After waiting till about 8:30 we all decided to drive down to Fullerton to Import BUilders to check it out.
there wasnt a dyno of the car because there just wasn't enough time and he needed to be in Houston by sunday 12noon . BUT! he did have time to let us ALL sit in his car and go for a test ride!!! We cruised the streets for a bit and hit the freeways! That civic is just ***** out mean! that k20 is workin smooth and sounds so friggin badas$! A few of us took pics and AK(alex) when he can hook us up he'll upload the pics and!!...the VIDZ! He has the vid of the redline(stock ex gauges) going past...yes i say PAST 8000rpm!! We all saw it, we were shocked and we were amazed. The complete swap of the motor was well worth it in Eric's/aaron's words. Maybe when he gets back to the boards he'll give us his briefing of his newly swapped car. All i can say is...WOW. I love it and i want one in my car. It is a lot of work and the swap would be well over 10grand to do. Post the pics guys for those who couldn't make it. Our elite crew felt so special being there sharing the moment Good job Import Builders and thanks Eric for making this breakthrough for the 7thgen civics. Peace!
