Me vs. Zx2 kinda long...
So I'm driving down a 3 lane road and I was in the middle lane just cruising around 45mph. This guy in a blue Zx2 comes next to me and he has 3 other people in the car besides him. He passes me a little and then slows down and gives me a rev and guns it then slows down again. All I can tell is that he has exhaust and intake as mods. You can see the intake filter in the fender well, definitely home made, lol!
I just keep cruising because I know I would murder him because of how slow he accelerated when he gunned it. He must of been a true thug because he had the lean and was trying to stare me down while his girlfriend and friends were pointing and laughing at me. We finally get to a red light and the conversation went like this:
driver: yo dawg, why don't you run that pos acura, you scerrrd??
me: i don't feel like wasting my gas and time
g/f: lol, you're just mad because you ain't got a real car, vtec is bullshit
::everybody in his car laughs::
me: fine, lets run'em and see whose laughing at the end.
driver: lets go dawg!!
I hear him holding his rev and when the light turns green he launches but I don't. I take off moderately fast but I don't hit i-vtec in first and just hit second. I hit third before I hit i-vtec in second and around 45-50 mph he is about a fender or two in front of me and I hear his g/f yell out the window, your car is **** slow. So I said **** it, dropped it in second around 50 mph with i-vtec screaming and blew their doors off.
At the next light:
me: wow, i've ran dumptrucks with a full load faster than you
driver: my clutch is slippin and my tires are bald yo
me: having a g/f with big mouth must be great, i bet she gives great head
Light turns green, I drove off like nothing happened, f**king bums. All I have is cai, tein coilovers and some motegi racing rims.

Rep Power: 375 ROFLAMO!! I have dumb kids everynow and then try and run me. If fun to watch them try so hard. Just when they get their hopes up, I take it out of 6th gear and drop it in fourth and put about 8 cars on them. Buhahahaha
I can't believe some dude thought that he could beat a type s in one.

Rep Power: 0 OK, that was dumb. I hate people that dont understand the physics of cars. You should have got his hopes up and asked for a second race in which you would scream vtec in every gear.
I got a friend that has a dsm '02 type-s. All kinds for people try and race him. Quickest he has run is 14.2 and 15.0 w/ 19's and slipping clutch.

today goin to work.....i was just crusing...and this hyndai accent (2doors) with 2 huge guys in the car (atleast 200lbs each).
so im just crusing trying to get to work.....so i guess they saw me passing (was goin 50 in 40 zone)....then all of the sudden i hear his fart exhaust. then he got stuck behind a car.....so i passed them again (still crusing trying to get to work). so he passed the car....and i hear the fart exahust again passing me.....and i was just sitting there laughing and shaking my head.

Im sure an EX could take that ZX2. I find myself a true car enthusiast, while i have brand loyalty to imports mainly nissans. I never overlook a cars bottom line performance.
When I raced my friends 2001 Z24 that had Motor Mounts and a quad 4 intake manifold it shocked me, maybe i screwed up my launch but at the top of 2nd gear he was pulling on me. I shift to third where my front bumper was at his front wheel and then walked him pretty easy.
I guess all im trying to point out is those cars might be big piece's of flamming fieces... but they doesnt make them automatically slow.
a zx2 has 130hp/130tq and curb weight of 2478lbs.
a neon can have 150hp/135tq or 132/130
You really should compare the cars power to weight ratio before you start flinging insults of slowness. This dude was a total idiot for wanting to run a RSX-(s) I think when you come across these kind of tools, you shouldnt even toy with him. Just destroy him, otherwise he will go back to his friends and be like i almost beat an RSX-s but my oil needed to be changed.. or my gas was old. some b.s. excuse. IMHO

Rep Power: 305 Nothern Ninja, thats cool you beat a Z24, it has power power to weight than we do. I guess its not always about the manufacutrers numbers.
In day to day driving Civic EX does handle its own. The driver is very important. If your able to give people a hard time with a Civic EX, they should be terified once you get a real sports Car(At least I hope its like that).
