2000 DX auto, me(02exauto) & 94 altima stick
on the light, we all mash the gas, i'm pulling on both of them (esp the 2000 DX) and just a hood over the altima, then at the top of first, the altima manages to pull on me strongly (probably cuz its a 5 spd) then second gear me and the altima even out, the DX is 1 and a half car length behind, and the altima ends up winning by a 3/4 car at the top of second (where we shut it down)
Oh well... i do know the 2000 DX is WEAK.
Me, iridiums and exhaust, my friend in the DX (i/e) and the altima (appeared to be a bone stock beater)

I never said it was advantageous, I simply was trying to imply the average "ricer" can't drive worth **** on a mountain road, most of the cars I've beat on the canyons WERE stick. Yes, I'd rather have a stick, but for now, I have to make best of what I have. Besides... the horror stories I hear about our civics w/stick...

Really? What type of horror stories? I might have to agree, some ricers cant drive. I would hate though to have my car upshift in the middle of a corner. I'm also doing the best I can with what I have, which is stock haha.
