Altezza Style Front Grill...
Just wondering how some of you that have the have liked it? How does it fit, etc... Another thing I was wondering was, is it possible to put an "H" symbol in the middle, with an "Si" symbol off to the side, like how it is on a Type R grill, you know what I mean? Like are those holes big enough to put the prongs through from the Silver "H" and "Si" logo through and secure them some how?, or is it not possible? (our 2 door EX up here is called an Si, just so you don't think I'm talking about the US Si). Just wondering because this time next year we're getting a 2004 Si, so of course I'm excited already, not that there's anything wrong with our 4 door LX, but you know...

I have the Altezza grill and I love it. It will fit but you need to get a Sedan Radiator Cover if you want to keep your radiator cover. Your Coupe radiator cover will not work.
If you want a grill with the "H" on it and "Si" why not get the RS Grill and replace the "RS" with your "Si" emblem?

ya i advise getting the sedan radiator cover. i kept my coupe one and cut the bottom portion off so it would fit and still cover the radiator. the grill doesnt line up exactly with the cover though so when the hood is popped it doesnt look as clean as it could.
Actually I have the RS grill, but since I will be getting a Coupe, having the RS grill will seem wrong in my mind, since it is a 4 door in Japan.
And what do you guys mean by a radiator cover not working with that Altezza grill?
It's just that I like the Altezza grill more because it's plainer. I was just wondering if it is indeed possible to put the symbols through the holes and fasten them on the other side with something?

Ok, but what is this radiator cover you're talking about? I have the sedan now, with the RS grill on it, so I have seen what's under there, whereas I have not seen what's under the coupe. So that grill won't fit on an Si (EX)?

If you have a sedan then your Altezza grill will fit with the radiator cover you have.
If you have a Coupe then you will need to buy a sedan radiator cover.
The radiator cover for the sedan is different from the coupe. This is why you need a sedan radiator cover. The altezza and RS grills are made for sedans. While they will fit coupes, you need a sedan radiator cover to fit.

You must have had to take the bumper off though to put the grill on right?
If not how did you do it? I know on my sedan we just couldn't do it, and had to get the Honda dealership to do it.

EM2HK1, Do you have a radiator cover now that you changed to and altezza grill? If you have a coupe then there is noway to have a altezza grill and your coupe radiator cover. They just won't fit together. It's impossible. The mounting points onto the grill are totally different.
Majarvis, I dont' know what you want for an answer anymore. I give you all the info I have and you you still ask like how a little kid repeats over and over "why".
Somethings in life just "are" the way they are. I'm not about to go take my grill out and find my coupe cover to show you why. I have done the mod, shown you the pictures, now make up your mind and buy one if you want!!!
