friend of mine was porting my oil pump put a whole in it.

went to a shop to get my oil pump welded today. only charged me 10 bucks cash.

cleaned and assembled the oil pump and cleaned all the shavings from the block.

started assembling the block today. I decided to just use that oil ring that had a chip on the end on the most bottom. i filed it down so it was smooth. this time i got all the pistons in real easy.

painted the old timing marks black, painted the 16* mark red and the 14 and 18 marks white.

4 coats of dark grey high temp paint, wet sanded between every coat, didnt turn out as nice as I had hoped.

Thanks! tried too, it wouldn't start. cranks has spark and fuel. I'm checking the timing.

had trouble idleing for the first bit, it would slowly stall. took quite a few times of letting it run to get it to idle steady at 7-800 lumpy as ****.
