cleaned and assembled the oil pump and cleaned all the shavings from the block.
heres pictures of the ports and manifold from the other day.
started with this

before port matching
polished and buffed the bars on the plenum
cleaned and painted the manifold with silver aluminum high temp paint
sanded, polished, and buffed the fuel rail
painted the block and head with the high temp silver aluminum paint
head torqued down, valve train all assembled, have to do the valve lash still.
painted the old timing marks black, painted the 16* mark red and the 14 and 18 marks white.
4 coats of dark grey high temp paint, wet sanded between every coat, didnt turn out as nice as I had hoped.

had trouble idleing for the first bit, it would slowly stall. took quite a few times of letting it run to get it to idle steady at 7-800 lumpy as ****.
