weird and i can't explain, but when i corrected rear camber (camber kit, bring closer to zero), the clearance to the fender increased

It is ... and it's gone.. its garbage.
James your sure that rolling the fenders will clear the 30 offset with 215/45/17 tires with 7 inch rims?

Yes it will. I just looked at it closely and took some measurements. It will be super close to the fender but it will clear it ... That's with the 205's on though. Hopefully the 215s dont change the story.

My rear cambers are already -1 or even a bit higher. I think the RSX knuckles are slightly different. Once I roll the fenders the 215s should fit for sure. I'll do a test run with it and take pictures of the rims so I can post it here too next week. Fender rolling is on Thursday.

Sounds like a P.I.T.A!!! I remember when I installed my coilovers the bottom strut bolt wouldn' t come out and I ended up having to saw them off. Come spring time I will be attempting the same mod and hopefully I can take some tips from your exeprience

I'll tell you this. Don't use Type "R" rear knuckles because they are a serious pain in the ***. Just get USDM base or Type "S" knuckles as they are a better fit with same offset. However, once I'm all finished here I think it will look pretty badass with the rear tires further outboard.

I can flush/slam my 215/40/17 with about an inch of Clarence from the rolled-fender to the wheel IDE wall.
I run -1 camber.
If you don't slamm or flush your wheels, your rear tire should clear your fender easily when it reaches it

you will need to increase front neg camber if you go too far in the rears - might loose too much front grip if you go too far. Although most of your miles are in HWY, so...
1.5 deg difference to rears made my car too understeering in autoX/track, was still not bad for street, tho. much prefer the -1.5 F/ -0.5 R i run now.

Haahha are you talking about the Azenis I ran the **** out of? Yea. But I don't drive that hard anymore. Getting too old and gaining to much common sense/responsibility.

I'm going back and forth like crazy here I have no idea what I want to do. Anyway, I opted out of the new rear end. I'm going to roll the fenders, slap the 215s on .. snap a boatload of pictures for you guys and see if it rubs. IF it does not rub, I'm going to throw the 205's on and wait for a really good deal on the rear knuckles ... Then, in the spring throw the new knuckles on along with the 215s... I don't need the nice rims right now anyway I'll destroy them with all the road salt going on around here right now. Thanks for all your help everyone, James special thanks for keeping me sane. If I had known what I was getting myself into I never would have done this project lol

No you don't. I switched my rear to DC5R but I don't think I had to at all. Only reason I did was they were like new sensors compared to my old ones. No ABS light at all.

5 lug swap complete with DC5$ rear end, fenders rolled.. Off to the body shop for some fender paint tomorrow to finish it all up. Just need to get a camber kit and adjust the camber a little bit more the negative way so it does not hit the bumper bolt any more and I'm finished. Back left shock is sagging real bad, on stock suspension!!! The car rides smooth as hell... Steelies on for now:

you know, my vic have the left side lower too. until i corrected cambers, alho it's still slightly lower on left side (and no, i did not eat too many macs... 110-120lbs)
darn, the rears are really sticking out quite a bit (hey, you said they would be to the inside?!? )
yeh gonna need to put some -3 deg in the fronts so you will not shoot straight in that snow covered corner - time for a 28mm rear sway bar, then

^ NO... mostly aesthetics here. The annoying squeak is gone so I'm happy with that, discs are also much easier to work with. I'm overall happy that I did it.

Sick as a dog here. Once I feel better I'm going to try and bend the tab that the rear bumper bolt sits on so the tire stops hitting it. Unless someone knows a better way to fix it because I'm pooched right now. Hitting pretty hard when the tire reaches it.
