Rep Power: 0 look at my k20 wire tuck.
i was bored with my car so i stripped it down and decided to do a wire tuck. it took me around 1 month or so to get everything done and running. it would have been done sooner but i had the flu one week and i ran into an idling issue. but the wire tuck was done professionally by myself using solder and heatshrink. no shortcuts. i also ran my car through hardcore rain and snow and no problems so far. i also dont have any bottom engine covers or fender liners. so enjoy and LMK what you think.
look at the madness before the tuck.
stripped of all electrical wires.
after the wire tuck and some-what put together.
and here it is after 2 months.
it sucks how the em2 engine bay is hella small compared to ek's and eg's ect. so a wire tuck doesnt look like much. i guess its also because i have ps and my heater core still.
hope you guys like it.

plus, that thing is so overpriced. 1600-1800 bucks for a manifold

ROFL this is true. but if it can fit into an rsx it can fit into an em2. i didnt take much off for the rbc. and in some cases ive seen 2 em2's that have removed the upper part of their radiator support. not that i would go to that extent. thats why i wouldnt mind just modifying my rbc. the more logical way to go. i dont even have a nice header so im not worried bout it right now.

i am rocking a ghetto *** megan shorty header...LMFAO. i was planning on running a DTR header with megaphone and v-band or a hytec one. heard good things bout both but six sigma's price is around 800-900 mild steel. can't choose.

Looks good, get some clean shots though without the fish eye lens. I love wire tucks

damn while you was at it you shouldve shaved all those holes and painted the engine bay with new paint.
as for the IPS mani, i already tried to fit it in there. you would have to trim soo much its not even worth it. the one i used was from my homeboys eg. if there is a rsx specific manifold i think it would fit.
i got my peakboost kit on so i have a ssr header for sale if youre interested. btw it looks good though!

you dont really have to cut alot off. but it is a pain in the *** to find a spot for the hood prop. but then again i can always get lift supports. but porting would be the cheaper and better route to go with.
i actually was going to build my head this summer but i spent my saved cash on some wheels...... dont know if i will regret it.

the ips mani will fit.. already test fitted one 3 months ago.. it wasnt mine though.. lol.. looks good bart.. mines still looks pretty much the same.. i was thinking about a wire tuck though
but like u said the engine bay already looks cluttered.. especially with all my oil feed lines and vacuum lines for the turbo
