Well here's the deal guys i'm planning on maybe swapping 05' Acura EL tail lights and trunk into my 05 civic... I'm just wondering if it's the same and interchangeable? HELP!

you need to get the EL trunk lid i believe then you can swap it in and rewire it.

i've HEARD that the rear bumper needs to be swapped as well, but i think it's bs...

should be swapable. just don't know if the plugs match up. HAVE FUN!

i have seen a local guy here have an EL conversion. only the trunk is different.

the picture looks like everything is the same except trunk as well.

yeah that's what i figured would be a nice MOD that's one of my "TO-DO" this year for sure!

rear bumper of the EL is not completely the same. there is a slight indentation on the lowered middle bottom (kinda like the 03-05)

you might wanna check the height where the bumper and the tail light meet. From what I am seeing, there may be a slight difference between the EL and civic

Thanks man... but damn... it seems like it's on an '01-'03! but i wonder if it would fit an '05 EL into my '05 Civic cause i like the tail lights on that year better!

Smash this MOD cause we just recieved an 05 Acura EL at my work and i measured the outer tail lights and it's wider and longer than my civic... might try to find 01-03 EL tail lights which i believe fits in my civic... does anybody know if there's other altezza tail lights for the 01-03?
