It looks like I may end up taking over the lease on an 06 Maxima. Its fully loaded with every option available. Its not my first choice, but the payments are only $60 a month more than what I was already paying. The lease will be up in 11 months, which gives me plenty of time to save up for a huge down payment.

insurance should let you get parts from your car if you ask them. when i had my civic totaled last year i still had my rims, springs, intake, and what not on it, but i had to wait till my car landed on its final resting lot, because the collision centers didn't want to be held liable if i injured myself taking my parts off on their lot, but hopefully you have pictures of what was on your car before it left your hands, i had a huge issue trying to retrieve my parts, long story short, when i opened the hood of my car to get my intake, it was missing, only to find out, for some odd reason someone decided to put it in the trunk of my car

I can't see how thats a total, if the air bags went off then it's a total, thats an easy fix see if you can buy it back from the insurance company and fix it your self with the money they give you. just a thought
