k.. i have an opinion question and a not so opinion question

im thinkin of gettin rsx seats.. not leather... cause i don't wanna mix leather and cloth looks...and dunt wanna deal with doin the rear seat...

do you think it would benifit me as i drive over 500 miles a weak... i no the seats are fitable and everything... but what years would be good to get the seats out of... because i don't know when they changed over.. and if one version is better than the other... thanx everyone ill try and get some pics for this too as soon as i no whats goin on

you can actally get the EP3 seats...they are cloth and as nice as the rsx.

as for the rsx, they make em in cloth, but i dont see why u want cloth?

why dont u just go with leather? it feels nicer, cleans easier, and looks better.


i actually only bought the driver side leather rsx seat. my passenger side is still that ugly stock cloth civic seat...

why?

cuz im actually into the comfort of a leather seat, and since i dont drive anyone, why bother buying the full set???

plus i got a good *** deal on the driver seat only. like 120 i think.

i bought the cloth ones, but the pattern on them isn't anywhere near the stock civic one. might as well get the whole set of buy a modded set off a member here. check the f/s threads. i know there is at least 1 modded set in there...

I think the cloth RSX seats have the ugliest pattern, yet they ARE comfortable. I have the leather ones in mine, and they are very comfortable, yet my only complaint is that they don't hold you in the seat well, but i think you'd only expect that from a racing seat. If you want cloth seats though, I think EP3 seats would be a better choice.

ya.. ive read through about 30 or so seat posts... im not sure if i want to go leather tho.. because ive heard it may not be so comfortable... and personally.. i don't like the tops on the ep3 seats....not relle my style...are there any differences in the sats from the different gen rsx.. or are they pretty much all the same???

the rsx seats changed from these years i believe:
'02-'03
'04-'06

like stated before, the cloth seat pattern is kinda nasty. if you were to get the rsx seat, however, i would suggest getting them from the later years. this is because as the rsx got older, they added larger side bolsters to the seats and more cusion.

i have the si seats and they are as comfortable if not more comfortable then the rsx seats but thats my opinion

get leather......its more comfortable....

if u want real racing seats, get true bucket seats that hold u in.

but since ur not gonna be doing autox everyday, get teh leather...its awesome.

leather is more comfortable but it gets hot lol... cloth is always good imo.. im guessing uve seen wat the cloth ones look like and it doesnt seem to affect what u think about them.. i guess the pattern isnt an issue here.. in that case.. i would go with cloth.. i just dont like leather seats, in the summer they heat up pretty bad and they dont even keep u in the seat that good, u slip n slide all day long if ur takin hard corners... if u dont mind those few things, then get the leather.. for me and my opinion cloth ftw for price, comfortability (?) and i dont care for the pattern..

by the way, fitable isnt a word.

the rsx seats change between 02-04 and 05-06. the 05-06 are more comfortable cuz they have more cushion or sumthin like that and i dont think they have that squarish pattern on them (the cloth ones neway). i wouldnt want leather. Ive heard a lot of complaints from ppl on club rsx when i wanted to get some. ppl even straight up trade their leather ones for cloth b/c they end up uncomfortable. but i mean a lot depends on weather too. i gave up on gettin leather cuz the weather over here in cali is too freakin hot, but idk how it is in CT lol
just get some recaros like me! lol

i know you dnt like ep3 seats. i just picked a set up and got em installed (thanks hwoody77) and i must say, one of the best investments on my em2. a lot more comfortable than stocks and the color, plane sick. imo, i think the ep3 seats are way better than the rsx seats, leather or cloth.

the 05-06 seats are better because of the extra cushioning like everyone said. Leathers are a lot more comfortable then the stock seats. If you have tint then the seats being hot isn't that much of an issue.

i just installed the rsx leathers 02-04... they are much better than stock and also has lumbar support! only the front two bolted up on mine. third one i had to make the hole bigger. the fourth one, i have yet to bolt down... wonder how safe that is..

3 out of 4 is fine. i drove around for 2yrs with 3 out of 4 of the bolts and i never had a issue.

i sat in rsx cloths and i wanted a set because they match the civic interior not too bad. I wanna get rsx leathers cuz they just loook so good. But another option for you is a set of decent racing seats with brackets and sliders. A lot of guys are selling them pretty cheap.
