Keep the LX, or get an SI...???
A guy in my hometown is selling his 2002 SI. I am thinking about buying it, but am not really sure. I really like the way it looks, (USDM type R lip kit, 17" Racing Harts, coilovers, Mugen style cf spoiler, DC header, Greddy Exhaust) and it only has 45,000 miles. He is only asking $12,000 and that was about a month ago and I think if I go to him with $10,500 cash that he will take it. My friend, who I bought my LX from wants it back because he likes the way I have it and is willing to pay more than its worth for it 
. Downfall is my dad bought my LX and I have to ask him if I can sell it, and I am not sure how thats gonna go. Just feel like typing to I guess

Rep Power: 269 If your friend is willing to give you more than what the car's worth and there isn't anything left owed on the car after that, then it sounds like a good deal to me. I would do it if it were me!

hells yea take it.. shoot iam acutally looking for 2006 SI atleast 300usd monthly, and it sucks cause its all 450usd and above!! but i will let you guys know if i find a good deal lolz! any who.. just feel like typing that aswell.

yea the Si's are way nicer......usually overpriced from dealerships, thats why I hope to find an 05 from a local seller in the next year or two. anyways, that car is niiiiice, pick it up.

Rep Power: 284 yup well i am leaving in like 5 minutes to go back home, 2.5 hours, and i will go talk to the guy again. he originally wanted 12, but now he said 11. so i think i can get it for 10 or less. hahahha
if i get the car for the same price i sell my EM for then I will only be paying $7000 for the car cuz thats what i paid for my EM and to make it the way it is

Personally, i'd NEVER get a pre-owned car thats already hooked up. you're just buying someone else's idea,taste, and imagination. i like stock cars. so this way i could do it myself with my taste.

although the guy wasnt there this weekend so i didnt get to talk to him about it. i wont be back there until another 2 weeks so hopefully he still has it
