Im Gettin An Si!!!
hey, i got a 01 black EX coupe rite now, but tomarow after school im gonna go with my mom to a honda dealer, and trade in for a black civic SI... its so cheap to.. its a 2002 civic SI with 21K miles on it, for 14,295. and my car has a trade in value of 12g.. so my payments wont go up much.. im excited because i wanted a 5 speed, and the k20 is awesome... alot of people thinks is ugly, but it grew on my, and i like it, especially in black.... so yeah my new ride will be a 2002 civic SI...

Rep Power: 0 i just got back from puttin in my stock radio.. and one... i didnt have the OEM screws to mount the cdplayer, so i had to find some xtra screws layin around a rigged that up.. looks alright tho.. and then when i was screwing the whole center console back into the brace.. one of the screws broke.. i was just like ****.... so theres half a screw holding the one side in, and the other one fits just fine.. so it should be ok.. and then i try to turn the **** on.. and it says ERR then CODE and im like... wtf... what code.. so i gotta call honda and find that out... whatta day... i hope they dont notice that at the place im trading it in at....

Rep Power: 340 not a bad trade in value i guess. did you pay alot of 2k1? personally i wouldn't by a year old car with that many miles. i am sure you can find some 2k3's lying around some other dealerships with 0 miles on them.... dealers would be dying to get rid of those, for the new line-up and all.

Rep Power: 0 sri is better then a cold air? not sure, im still used to my 01 EX, what should i do first,i was thinkin of gettin a injen cai, and then a short shifter exhaust/headers.. when i can afford all of that..

yea welcome to the K series family. I just joined a little while ago...but i guess mine doesnt really count yet. My Type S motor is in my car though...all thats left is to get my ECU programmed from Honda...then its Si, GSR, and TypeR hunting for me.
I was like you, i didnt like the new Si's at first, but then they grew on me. I love the look of a slammed Si, with gunmetal rims, with the Fiber Images lip kit. Thats looks so clean. Anyways, have fun with it...i know i will have fun with my K motor.
