Rep Power: 0 Totaled my 09 Si Sedan :(
So a couple weeks ago I totaled my 2009 Civic Si. I am alive and thankful to Honda for their great side impact results. I was t-boned by a 8,000 lb Suburban.
Here are some pictures (5 of them, click next)

You can see the side curtain airbags deployed and saved my head and face, especially if they windows has shattered. The windshield shattered and the interior dash was shifted over a good inch or two. Very bad crash and I am very lucky.
Insurance totaled it out for me and I got a 2012 Si Sedan in Sunburst Orange, I am loving the Bluetooth and the IMidi thing as well as the extra torque, I'm only to 100 miles so I have I wait to really push It but I am looking forward to it.
EDIT: Here is a pic of the new Si...

Wow, that must have been scary as hell!
Glad your alright.
New car!
I was almost the first person on the scene of this accident last winter. Civic head on into new Ford 150. You couldn't even tell it was a Civic when I went by but I guess the driver walked away from it. Amazing how tough these little cars can be.
it won't let me post the pics again but it's in this post...

A few little things, I like the improved torque tho miss the higher redline. But it pulls a bit better and feels smoother in my opinion. Plus the fabric, while cheaper and not as nice looking, the older fabric held pet hair (I have several pets) from my shirts and was a bitch to clean. Plus the new Bluetooth and IMid system is very nice for a sub 25K car. Also my knee would battle with the shifter position on the '09, they fixed that and I like it. Also I fell I love with Sunburst Orange Pearl. So unique and no other civic comes in it
