Rep Power: 0 Req: Pics of your 4-door with tinted windows
I'm trying to decided how to get the windows tinted on my '05 grey 4-door. VA state law is 50% front/35% rear. I don't like the look of 4-door cars where the tint in the front and rear doors is different, though. The guy at the tint shop said 50% and 35% is not different enough to really notice, but I'm not convinced. So, I'm thinking of either doing 50% on all the doors and 35% on the back window, or breaking the law and doing 35% all the way around.
Anyway, if you could post pics of what you have along with the percentage(s) so I can get an idea of how different percentages actually look on the car, I'd appreciate it. I tried searching but most of the results were old and the pics were gone.

Rep Power: 0 Sweet, thanks you guys. I'm glad I asked, because the 35% doesn't look as dark as I thought it would. It looks good. Plus I just looked and saw that the laws for every state bordering VA is 35% all the way around, so VA cops are probably used to it. I think I'll go with that.

Rep Power: 223 you guys are rediculous , f the unenforced law and get what you want.
guess what folks. the law in michigan is NO percent in the front but yet you see it all over the place w/out hassle cops couldnt give two ***** about tint unless your getting pulled for something else. be smart w/ your tint and quit worrying about it.

Rep Power: 0 Here's my sedan (same color and year as yours), ignore the flat tire... this is the best picture I have of my tint. It's 30% front and back. I could have legally gone darker in the back, but I don't like the look of having two different tints.

I'm in Richmond, and the shop I went to told me the same numbers for the law. Any way you could post or e-mail some pics of what yours looks like so I can get an idea of what the 50%/35% combo looks like?
