the only thing better than an 03-05 cluster is...
an 03-05 cluster with blue backlight instead of white.
Here we have a nice collection of leds in the cluster.

now we turn them on with 12v.

then we place the white diffuser panels back on...

and FINALLY, we put the gauge face back on. These pics are NOT long exposure. They are as bright (if not brighter) than the stock gauges and shouldbe easily visible in daylight. I think I will keep the needles red however.
The hardest part remains putting everything back and testing in the car to make sure it works... its good progress but still not complete.

just wait til i figure out if the cluster still works lol or its going in the trash. i need to hope the needles will go back. and its too bad honda didn't position the leds straight up like mine. would've made it a ton brighter and also whiter instead of milky.

ya thats no problem. i can do it using film, the yellow/orange one. i still need to do that style to put sample pics. the red film turned out good already. but i can do yellow leds too, just need to find some.

Stock is intentionally meant to not be super bright. Brighter lights = more eye strain. And with a high frequency color like blue, you'll be tiring out your eyes a lot faster. Red w/ its low frequency wavelength is the most gentle on the eyes--hence many cars have red lights.
geez where are the ballasts for those damn lights. They are bright as hell. Way too bright for my liking, I forget to turn my lights on as it is with the cluster illuminated during the day. Good work though
