Well I my mom had a 95 Civic before I got my learners permit, and we always knew it'd be going to me once I could drive, though only part time at first. Then in August 05, two days after my 19th birthday I got my 05. Today I'm still 19 (obviously). I've spent almost $0 in mods... I've got a sticker ("50+ MPGs", $4), replaced the thumbnail shaped piece by the parking brake (not really a mod but it was missing when we bought the car, ~$5, my mom paid for it), virtual fuzzy dice (from my sister, $3). That's it so far... I need to get a new hood though, but it will probably be stock, so that not really a mod, just a repair. I'm a full time student and I work part time over summer and winter vacation.
got my es when i was 18 a month before my birthday and modded the next month after my birth day. first thing i got was rims and tires, the 4pc type b lip kit, aerospeed lowering srings, a generic brand muffler,a wings west spoiler all at once. Then fresh paint on the kit and spoiler a month later. now im turning 21 this august and my car is totally remodeld and way too many mods to list that i dont wanna think about anymore cause too much money involved. I remember buying a shitoad of stuff and didnt work or broke, man what a waste of money.

I got my civic when i got my permit back in october 2005 when i was 15. i just turned 16 2 weeks ago and traded in the civic for an rsx. that was a 5 thousand dollar mod for me. paid for it by myself

Was 16 when I bought the Civic new.
I am 21 now.
Parents financed it with no money down and told me I had to pay for it asap.
I'm still bitter about it because I wanted a cheap used car I can quickly pay off and have fun with; I never really wanted a new car.

I got my 2003 ex brandnew for my 16th birthday... i'm 19 now but the Civic is gone... but I kept it for 3 years and she was good to me... for my 19th birthday I got a 2006 xB so we would have a car my grandma could eaisly get in and out of and I love it.

I got my RR Civic fresh off the line in 2001 when I was 22. I am now 27 and the car will be paid off in 3 months thank god.
I think I have between $7000-$9000 CDN into it so far but I love it and wouldnt trade it for anything in the world.

im now 17 and ive had the car for roughly 7 months give or take and so far ive just put rims on it. i have an addiction that gets in the way of my car fund....

I had just turned 18 in July, I paid for it all myself, flat out no payments.
Years and years of saving money in the bank and **** and not wasting on it laptops, ipods, tv and video games paid off.
Plus I have a job making awesome money for an 18 year old(14.00 an hour), so I count my blessings.

Im from montreal quebec so my english is not my primary language so i will do my best.
I bought my car at 28 years old and this is my first brand new car. I bought this car cause i make a big gift for me for stopping smoking pot.
I am very proud to drive my car and i really love it.
Right now i own a civic 2004 coupe sport black.
I expect to do some modification when it will be possible. I would like to look like stock car "sleeper".
I expect to put a new engine when warranty will expired. I think to put a k20a inside i know it a big modification to fit in but i see some ppl they do that.
Maybe if i can do that i will put a turbo.
Right now on my car i do some minor modification on the sound system
i put some infinity speaker, i change my indash cd player for a pionners premier deh-mp7700 and a sub woofer jbl 1000 watts and ampli alpine v12. I must read more to how stop trunk noise when i put my sub louder.
I see some ppl in 7thgencivic they have some NICE car in there.
So im finishing school soon and i will make lot money so i will do modification in 5 months.
Dont give up guys and i really love this site thanx a lot for all diy and ppl who write comment for ppl who need help. Cause its help me a lot.

Rep Power: 0 I was 23 when I got my 05 in feb of 05. I'm 25 now. the car has 60k miles on it and still runs/drives like new. I might have 1k in mods. just struts, springs, intake, front and rear upper strut braces, and a set of 205-50-15 Kumho ASX tires. sort of a necessity cause the factory tires sucked and wore fast. I drive 78 miles one way to work 5 days a week.
