Rep Power: 0 not cheap as in a quick hack job.. a competitive price.. alot of shops offer a spring rate which is generally cheaper b.c this is when alot of people bring their cars out to do work..

Rep Power: 297 You can do the suspension yourself, its not hard at all. I done it and it took about 6-7 hours to do. Wasn't hard at all.

Rep Power: 344 Congrats on the purchase, I'm sure you'll be very satisfied. Install is dead easy on these things, you should give it a try on your own, you'll be surprised how much you can learn just reading up on the suspension forums.

Rep Power: 297 I printed off the DIY Spring Removal and just read over it a couple times. Bout the Teins, the day they came me and a buddy started on it. Bought a case of beer and went to work on it. We had interruptions too so we coulda finished it sooner. Hardest thing about it was getting the rear struts off with my whole trunk being fiberglassed it was hard to get my hand in there to loosen the bolts up. But found a quick way and it was cake. It was fun too. Now I can say I installed my whole suspension and plus it saved me like $300 to have someone else do it for me.

Rep Power: 0 very true, i was thinking about it and i'm going to give it a shot at least. I just read it over as well and its pretty simple if u can use a socket wrench.. BUT the only thing im worried about is seized bolts, b.c then im screwed

Rep Power: 297 nah, just make sure you have a breaker bar and your fine man. There isn't anything to it, If you can loser a bolt and tighten a bolt then you should be good to go. Also a friend if you got one lol comes in handy. Get ya case of beer and go to town on it. Remember to follow the steps then just go in reverse. Make sure you put everything back where it was, ABS line expecially cause it could get snapped if you don't put it back. Also make sure your easy on the front tie rod boot, don't wanna bust anything while doing that. Not to scare ya, but i beat the **** out of the one tie rod to get it loose and didn't bust anything at all.
