a dealership wont pay for a conversion, or do one for that matter. Even if its under warranty, they will put in another automatic tranny or rebuild the old one.

i had 250 miles on my auto and had to have the nuetral safety switch replaced. yea 250. also now at 7200 its started to slip at high rpms, not normal slippage but alot. im taking it to honda on friday.

2k2 auto 45k miles, new fluid every 10k now, oil cooler, no slipping yet.

93k and i only have problems shifting into 1st at stop signs when its about 10 degrees and the tranny hasnt warmed up yet
clutch is going though.. rush hour traffic is a killer

everyone with auto tranny should have an oil cooler. and in hot weather when you're sitting at a light, put it to neutral until you're ready to drive.

really? i'd have to take that into consideration, seeings how i live in AZ with an auto.....btw i have 85K and no problems, except what everyone has with the auto trans, slow starts it sputters.

well tranny cooler is maybe $50 and i wrote a very nice diy with pics. its easy to install

It means that before going to another gear you need to shift to neutral first, then depress clutch, then press it again and the go to the desired gear.
This what semi-truck drivers do with all gears, if I'm not mistaking.
It is next o impossible to engage a gear smothly if at all if the gear has no syncromesh (syncromesh make shure that teeth on the gears lined up, so shift engages fast and smooth)

60,000 miles and counting. no problems grinded 2nd-3rd couple times (driver error). my reverse does that i just shake the car while i am putting it in reverse and itll pop in.

i got 96k on my 01 ex manual ... some minor problems goin into reverse every once in a while ( slight grind maybe once every 2 weeks )

other than the tranny makin the clinkin sound during right turns its fine...

altho i live in ohio and im driving it in the winter... its lowered with gold lines and ive gotten stuck a few times...

almost 60k auto lx
no real slipping problems yet.
sometimes when i'm at a stop there's a vibrating sound in the front... i'm not sure if thats the tranny but when i stick it in neutral it stops.

prolly just a dirty throttle body or iac valve. just take it apart and clean both it should go away.
