Well being an insurance agent, and it may be different in Canada, but in the US your premium will NOT be affected by comprehensive claims. Not only am i an agent, but i also had 2 comp claims last year, and my premium actually went down.

Rep Power: 282 same thing happend to me a few months ago, but i dont have a sunroof like u do so i didnt have that little extra support. my roof was way caved in like a fat chic sat on it. lol i just had my brother inlaw spot weld it, bondo it, and spray some primer. still needs to be repainted but imma respray the whole car. taking some time to save cash.
