new part pix (56K approved)
The lip kit should be on this weekend; I'll post pix when it is. :::crosses fingers:::
The Ep3 rear discs are painted and set to go, with rebuilt calipers and new pads. I've got the rsx ebrake cables on the way and Goodridge SS lines for them as well as the fronts. They prolly wont go on for another 6 weeks because I'm relocating to Fl. w00t w00t
Just thought I'd post em cause they've been sitting around for a while..

What kind of paint did you use to paint them? If it wasn't the high temp paint then the first time you put on your break the heat should just burn the paint off.

I painted my rotors the same way except i went around the outer edge as well.I used duplicolor high heat gloss black the only thing I taped up were the studs for the lugnuts and the screws that remove the rotors. The pads cleaned of the excess paint in no time.I never even thought of the rsx ebrake cables.I used Acura EL cables with shipping they cost me 200 bucks.oh well.

Why is it so funny? Have you ever seen an AEM big brake kit? the whole rotor is black; do you think it stays black with metal on metal contact? its going to come off in about 2 stops, so why cover it? ever seen rotors after a rain storm? the rust rubs off after a few stops..
they were 350 shipped, not many miles on them and no scoring - just weigh a ton.
i rebuilt the calipers myself (not much to it, just making sure everything is working ok) and of course its high temp paint. i just tried to clean stuff up before getting slotted rotors in the near future.
