sunroof on my lx?

I really want a sunroof (just like the stock sunroof on the ex's) on my lx coupe....I am seriously considering getting one. I will drive by honda and check with them. What do ya'll think and know about this idea?

what a waste of money. i'm not sure how much it would cost for a honda, but my sister put a sunroof on her 2004 Corolla S (they don't come with sunroof) and it cost $1000.

its gonna be alot. I wish I didn't have one actually cause of all the weight and road noise that comes with it.

ya buying a real sunroof wouldnt be all that practical (like youll just feel dumb cause you didnt get an ex cause it would end up bein the same price)

but yea you can get like the pop up type that you can also remove for i believe 400-500 bucks which is probably the way to go

thats what my friend did on his 89 accord lx

Yeah, I put a huge sunroof like that in my truck. It's almost the whole roof. I love it, and it also comes out. Properly installed, it will not leak. Mine is 10 years old and never leaked a drop. I'd do that instead of a motorized roof. Lighter, cheaper, and if you want, bigger.

thanks for the replies, I can't find a place that does electric sunroofs so (honda doesn't do em) I am checkin for the pop top like ya'll said, I really wanted an electric , didn't know they were like $2000, because I wanted it to close all the way because of the heat, my car is black and can get hot as hell..........

they arent that expensive everywhere. You can find a motorized one for 500-700 I'd say. I had some links for az saved a while ago. i deleted them, just checked, sorry.

I am thinking of putting one more like the new maximas. I think it would look hot with the skinny long strip look.
