BTW what are your current mods. They used to include:
"ported and polished head,gude cam shaft,aem cam gear,intake manifold,gsr throtle body,hp header and test pipe,tsudo cat back,aem cai,p73 ecu,holley fuel press regulator,,aem alternator pully,no ac,no power steering,eagle rods,arias 11:1 to 1 pistons,block guard,de-stroked to a 1.6, d1.6 crank shaft ,arp headstuds and rod bolts, , custom 8an teflon steel braided fuel lines, and b16a wireing harness,and a kamanari body kit, c/f hood headlights ... lots more"

You can't use Hondata's flash on the ECU to up the redline, because the mappings given to the ECU will not work with your D17 engine. So the only way to get your redline is to use a stand alone Engine Management system such as the AEM EMS. However, you can't do that, as you have now converted your D17 to a distributor system, which means the mappings for your engine will not work on the car as all D17 mappings would have coil-on ignition mappings programmed. And you can't use any other ODBII distributor engine mappings, because none will match the D17's engine.
so do tell us how you're going to magically up your redline to 10,000rpm. Also since you claim to have converted to a distributor system, what is your ignition timing? How many degrees?
