I think Civics made in Canada were/are more trouble free then the ones made in the US

I think Civics made in Canada were/are more trouble free then the ones made in the US
Check your VIN. If it starts with 2, it was made in Canada. I had no troubles whatsoever when I had my civic. My friends vic was also made in canada, same deal for him.

mine was made in ohio and i dont have any trouble with mine. I have a 04 with 30k on it.

At least for 01-03, Civic sedans were made in Alliston, Ontario, Canada, and the coupes in OHIO.

^^^Hahaha Some VW and Audi models are made in Mexico too.

My 01 sedan was made in Canada...transmission (a/t) burnt out at 45K miles and by the way it feels the new one is on its way to die by 90K.
My driving style is comparable to my grandma so its not that lol.

Ironically, the transmission is about the only part made in JAPAN.
Most of the car's parts are made in Mexico.
Its just assembled in Canada.

my car was made in the US i am in CANADA i havnt had any problems well that warrenty didnt cover that was just some trasmisson beats i gave it .. other then that Great Car!
