I think Civics made in Canada were/are more trouble free then the ones made in the US
 

Check your VIN. If it starts with 2, it was made in Canada. I had no troubles whatsoever when I had my civic. My friends vic was also made in canada, same deal for him.

mine was made in ohio and i dont have any trouble with mine. I have a 04 with 30k on it.

Dont know where mine was made, but where every it was made the boss was on vacation or something because mine is a big POS!!!

At least for 01-03, Civic sedans were made in Alliston, Ontario, Canada, and the coupes in OHIO.

Did you even own a Civic that was made in the US?

i would rather own a car made in the US then built in mexico....*cough *cough (ford focus).

not many problems with mine, made in ohio. 04 vp coupe 5speed.

^^^Hahaha Some VW and Audi models are made in Mexico too.

My 01 sedan was made in Canada...transmission (a/t) burnt out at 45K miles and by the way it feels the new one is on its way to die by 90K.
My driving style is comparable to my grandma so its not that lol.

Ironically, the transmission is about the only part made in JAPAN.
Most of the car's parts are made in Mexico.
Its just assembled in Canada.

hey, there's nothing wrong with the VW Thing! haha! one of my friends wants to own one of those! lol!

(for those of you who don't know what a VW Thing is, just picture the old 60s VW Bug, and square off EVERY curve on it! also, check ebay for them)

my car was made in the US i am in CANADA i havnt had any problems well that warrenty didnt cover that was just some trasmisson beats i gave it .. other then that Great Car!

i know i feel kinda dumb but hey a least i can admit it plus i've been to canada and to tell you the truth i liked it up there. especially the weather cause texas is too damn humid.
