First off, u always get what u pay for...so i know you don't want all the bells and whistles that some car alarms can come with, but look through this website, i reccommend buying one of these brands: clifford, viper, etc...

good luck man...

Rep Power: 265 go to swap meet and buy those generic 2-way alarms. from what i remember, they were only 130 installed without remote start. If you wantr remote start add another 30. so you should do it for 30 bucks. even if you only use remote start once in a while, i would say its worth it. only bad thing is the key stays in, so thiefs who know you have remote start can jack your car if they know where the brain is.
I paid 400 for mines and its the clifford matrix with remote start.

Dei who owns clifford and viper makes great inexpensive alrms with paging systems. The best imo would be alpines alarm with paging. its bank but there paging technology imo is better than dei's.but I have only owned and installed dei equiptment and have never had a problem.

Rep Power: 265 to me, I regret getting the clifford and paying 400. I think all alarms are the same. And if I couldve went back in time, I wouldve went to swap meet and paid 150 for a 2-way alarm with remote start.
400 for mines was insane. I think if I installed it my own it wouldve been around 200 for the alarm it self.
