people really suck today i got my first scratch 
for lunch i went over to this deli and i had to park my car in between two other cars (no other parking), and as im getting out of the deli, i notice a black monte carlo speeding away, going very fast in the parking lot. as i walk over to my car, i notice that there is a huggeeee scratch with black paint all over it on my drivers side door. no note or anything. just sped away.
i'll have a pic up 2mo

Someone scraped up my brand new front lip a few days after I put it on. They backed into it and then just drove off while the alarm was blaring. I would've been chasing them down if I saw it happen. Lousy people.

i always try to park as far away from others as possible, or to the nearest side (park as far in closest to curb). that way, if someone hits my car.. only one side will get dinged. sorry to hear about that

Rep Power: 0 Yeah, that sucks! You have to be very careful where you park. I usually park at the farthest end of the parking lot where there aren´t really any cars, sure, I have to walk a long distance to the store. But then again, that does not guarantee safety. Even if you park at the farthest end of the parking lot people seem to gravitate towards your car and park right next to you (although there are like a hundred parking spots around). They just have to park right next to your car, especially if it´s a nice car. People just don´t care about anybody other than themselves. Which is why I sometimes don´t even want to take my car out of the driveway. Anyway, sorry to hear about that.

Rep Power: 452 I remember when I had my old car, I went to the mall and I ended up parking next to this late model black honda civic with a exhaust, and then when I came out later, the guy was leaving and he saw me and speed away really quick. When I got to my car, I noticed a big dent on the passanger side door from him. Well I went into the mall and talked to my friend who worked security and asked him to look at the tape for me, and sure enough we both looked and saw this guy opening his door right into my car. Bad thing was the camera didnt see his license plate.
But when I came to the mall a few days after that, I saw the same car and parked next to him and opened my passanger door right smack into his car and dented the *** out of his driver door. I then waited untill he came out, saw him looking at his door, then drove up to him and said "Hope you like your new dent in your door, bitch", and drove off. I take matters into my own hands when I cant get the police involved. And especially when he didnt have the nerve to leave a note or anything. And my car was 4 weeks old.
But when I came to the mall a few days after that, I saw the same car and parked next to him and opened my passanger door right smack into his car and dented the *** out of his driver door. I then waited untill he came out, saw him looking at his door, then drove up to him and said "Hope you like your new dent in your door, bitch", and drove off. People really do suck. If you're gonna smack someone's car, accident or not, you better wait around for the owner to settle it up or you're gonna get it worse eventually (I believe in karma).

Rep Power: 319 lol...that suks tho...all the damage done to our civic is done by us except 1 thing...MAJOR scratches on the front bumper dent in the fender was caused by a penske honda dealership guy punching the fender because he was pissed that we didnt do subframe and damage replacement there...so they had to release the car to AAA than they took it over to O.C. where we kno a guy who ownes a shop...bastards at honda tried to hold the car for a week b4 releasing it to AAA...my dad had a nice talk with the manager and the owner of penske honda in ontario, ca...almost a lawsuit there but nothing happened

Rep Power: 0 Just wondering (since i got my first strach) How do you come to repairing the scratch? Mine isn't too deep but it seems that the paint will come off if you rub it hard. I don't think its dented the body work too much.
Is going to the garage the only decent way to cover the patch?
