Rep Power: 0 Always make sure you have the right cutting tools before you have your stock air intake into 30 pieces that you dont remeber how to re assemble when you install your cai. Also cut the hole large enough the first time so the tube does not contact the metal on the hole or your car will rattle like a big rig at a light.

That trunk lid is heavy. . I can't imagine how bad that hurt. .

Which reminds me of one that I forgot to mention...
You CAN'T use duct tape to re-attach your exhaust pipe to your catalayic converter. I tried it a long time ago, not even thinking about how hot it got there and it just ended up melting the tape, smelling really bad, and coming loose.

Rep Power: 0 do NOT go pay the dealership for replacement cabin filters, because they are 2X the price of non-honda ones.
do NOT follow the 10K mile oil change schedule, followed it for first 10K miles, car ran like crap last 3K until I got the oil changed.
do NOT let your wierd frineds eat smelly things in your back seat and then fall asleep, spilling nasty crap all over your seats (cant stress this one enough)

Rep Power: 273 Do not be the biggest stupid *** in the world and put semi-stripped bolts back into your floor to re attach your seats. It will **** up the threading in the floor and then you will either have to TRY and re-thread it, or go underneath the car and put nuts on the backside. Its common sence, well not common enough for me.

in addition to this^ , make sure the battery is disconnected and the car OFF when replacing radiator fan fuses (not me, the hubby) lol.
to drive into a bad neighborhood, next to a scared old tlady that doesnt saty in her lane around a sharp corner and hit a curb at 35 mph, putting a gash in 18 inch racing hart s7's and blowing 6 month old JIC struts. - ya this one is not very good. not too happy bout it. damn old people that veer into you
All the rest are the hubbys fault hehehhe:
-dont remove anything from the interior (dashboard, steering whel cover for ignition wiring, center console, etc), because it will either break off a clip, youll lose a screw, or it will never fit the same way again
-dont drop an allen wrench behind the throttle body never to be seen again
-dont take the nut off the engine ground wire and then drop it in the radiator fan, again never to be seen again
-dont take nuts/bolts, whatever off yuor car, and forget to put them back on, or where they go even
-dont think that a radiator overheating already messed up the engine, so spend a couple grand on an engine swap, and have the radiaotr STILL overheat, all because the ricer that owned it before you messed up some stupid switch. (has to be the most expensive one - but it was really just an excuse to do the swap sooner)
anyone noticing a pattern here....?? lol

Rep Power: 335 AR . . I dunno how those come about, I'm always careful, but somehow I still have swirl marks. I only use touchless carwashes, I only dry it using a shamois. They aren't real noticeable, but if you look close they are there.
They might be able to be buffed.

Rep Power: 0 SexyTurboCiv...did you mean 35 SERIES tires? Id hate to see 35 inch tires on a civic.
Which brings me to my next point; dont put 24 inch chrome rims on a sedan...you'll look like a monster truck in a bad way (actually saw that today...24 inch spinners on a crown victoria...that thing had to have a foot of clearance...teehee)

Rep Power: 0 To "clean your engine" dont take off the air filter, turn the hose on and shove it in your intake piping, and then run the car to get "all that nasty carbon deposits out"

Rep Power: 0 Dont touch the chrome in diy headlights, wished I had seen that earlier
Dont try to scrape off the glue from removing emblems unless you enjoy seeing bare metal on your trunk...
if your dash wont fit back in after installing a cd player, dont push it until you hear a pop and then wonder why your a/c switches dont work
not a good idea to slam hood lid down on bottle of white lithium grease.. ill be cleaning it off until im 90
dont park behind drunk people and think to your self, oh, they see me
never use a piece of wire instead of a fuse b/c your too cheap to go by one. and on a related note...
never grab a amplifier when its smoking by your bare hands while driving 50 down the road trying to throw it out the window before your carpet catches on fire
still missing a set of turn signal bulbs that bounced off my airbox one day...
do not put any indentions in your dash around the instrument cluster, you think its soft and flexible but you will never get the lines out
I think thats all ive managed to screw up so far, give me a few months and im sure i will have more
