almost hydrolocked my engine

So last night I went fishing down on the key. I just moved to Florida a few weeks ago, and didn't realize that big *** storms can come up so quickly. Anyway, I'm driving home after nearly being knocked off the pier into the ocean while I was fishing, and there is a big puddle in front of me. It looks about 6 inches deep or so, and I saw everyone else flying through it, so I decided to go through it slow. Well, halfway through it suddelnly gets really deep, like knee high deep and my car dies. I'm sitting there blocking traffic pissed as all hell because I figured I locked my engine (yes I have a cold air, yes my car is lowered, no I don't have the AEM bypass valve, and yes I am retarded). Well I called up some friends of mine, we push my car onto a hill where there's no water, and my engine still turns over! I'm excited now. Well, an hour later it starts up, and runs fine now. I am VERY lucky. So today I switched my cold air into a short ram. That's the end.

Yeah, I really didn't want to replace my new engine, but I figured that if I had to I might as well just buy a k20 on the good ole master card. Either way, I'm happy to not have to fork out 4 grand.

True. .You're damn lucky. . Takes a lot to kill a Honda.

Personally I think that the SRT Neon would just take on the water. I think it would pump out all it's oil and use the water. Then, probably explode. .

j/k . had to throw in a flame for the Neon..

all you did was choke your engine. when you submersted the filter the engine had no air and could no longer run.

A short ram IS a whole lot cheaper than a K20 I'm glad it was okay.

You have a fine looking woman (and a handsome dog lol).
