Tie Rod End installation...?

I just recently installed some new springs, but in the process I screwed up the bolt on the tie rod end. Does anyone know how the hell to get the tie rod end off of the tie rod to install the new piece?

Yes, see that nut just behind the tierod end. You need to loosen that nut or hold it while loosening the end itself.

The nut and the end bolt up against each other.

The best way to do it is this:

Leave the tierod end throught the strut and bolted into place. Then, use a wrench to loosen that nut that butts of against the end. It is pretty tight so yoy may want to spray some wd-40 on to the threads.

after that you'll need an alignment, might just be better off taking it to a shop in the first place
