suspension components? like in strut bars? if so, none. i took off my front and rear upper strut bars when we installed the teins.. so i only have my tein ss and the rear spc camber kit installed
So it finally happened to ya huh?
I patched mine up.
1. Front: Get lightweight wheels...
The front springs shift a little bit less since I got the Slipstreams put on. Less weight = less resistance = less strain on springs.
2. Rear: Lightweight Wheels, Upper Rear Bar, and a full tank of gas.
The rears still squeek like a *****. The Slipstreams helped lessen it but it'll still come up.
My rear squeaks when I'm low on gas... the gas tank helps pre-load the springs. I also put my gym bag and school bag to weight it down.
The Rear Upper will prevent the rear from moving independently.

i raised the rear up a lil, and the squeaking went down a whole lot.. barely even squeaks now. oh, and i put my rear upper strut bar on too. that might help.
for reference, my rear is a lil bit more than 1 finger gap.. maybe like 1.25

when i open/close my door, sit in my car, goin over small cracks on the road.. pretty much whenever the back bounces just a lil bit. i can push down on the trunk and it'll start squeaking
Hi all, I have a full coilover with a brandname u guys might not have heard of. BTW, I'm in Australia and I had the same problem with u guys before. What the suspension shop did was check whether I had part no 12 in this link and they also took out the dust boot cover since it kept getting wedged in between the springs coil. Taking the dust boot cover should be no problem for me since it doesn't snow here but can be a problem to u guys.
The noises are gone till now and everything's perfect. The shop that did the repair is the main distributor for my full coilover kit so I reckon they really know what they're doing.
Hope this helps

poo.. michigan is famous for its random snow storms (like the one we had last week....) but i know for a fact that i have that part number 12 in. when i took out the rear struts out yesterday, i checked for all the parts.
btw, what kind of full coilovers do you have B390LU?

I haven't had a single squeak in the rear since I installed my RS Akimoto floor bar. I got my gas down to E and it still doesn't squeak!!! Before I had the bar on, my rears squeaked so bad especially when the gas gets low and the rear is not as preloaded. I put on my Slipstreams and it helped out and squeaked about 15-20% less. Since I now have the floor bar, it stopped all the squeaking. But the ride quality is much harsher overall.
to me it sounds like it's your camber kit that is squeaking. If the bushings on the camber kit are polyuretahne - that might be the problem. You'll need to lube them... it should have told you what to use on the instructions on how to install the camber arms. The stock camber arms used rubber bushings. There shouldn't have been any noise with these. I hope I've helped you out.

Re: Tein
I dont think its the camber as I have an SPC camber...and it seems only the Teins suffer for the dreadful rear sqeeeeek syndrome.
Arty, thats a nice bar but a little difficult to get...whats a comperable bar to that one here in the US.

The RS bar is freakin' amazing. But what sucks is that it makes the ride so much harsher. The Teins used to absorb bumps like stock, but now my car feels like I'm riding on a 2.5" drop with 18s when I actually have a 2" drop with 16s! It eliminated the rear squeaking 100%. It's been over a month since I had my rears squeak.
DO NOT GET THE AROSPEED GENERIC FLOORBAR!!! It's not as good.
Matt, get the RS Akimoto bar. Man, I'm a believer after it stopped the squeaking! My friend has a 95 GSR with H&R Sports + Tokico Blues and he says that the ride in the TEINS feels like a pillow compared to his setup. Since I got the bar, he says that my ride feels a lot like his when he adjusts the damping for autocross. All I need now is the get the Neuspeed Upper Rear bar for the trunk to stiffen up the rear a bit more... I'm going to have to soften my suspension for street use because it's just waaaay too harsh on Seattle streets. But I'd rather have my back hurt than to hear what sounds like a dozen animals in my trunk trying to claw their way out.
Summit Racing has it for $250.
