i talked to my friend about laying harder in the front. he said it hits the steering so i will have to look at this weekend when i go over there. Not sure how much it was but you can find decent 2/4 sets for under $1000 then accumulators, batteries, 90 degree fittings to fit under the hood. You will be under but very close to 2 grand.

a 2/4 can do front, back side to side. with 5 switches probly. I havent seen it in person but the 4 dumps gives you control over the wheels and the 5th swich to work the pumps. Im new to this so if im wrong somebody help.

eh, i agree with 010010010010
i'm sure she doesnt drive it stock height all the time. maybe set the camber when you drop it 2" or however low she normally drives... so when she slams it, the wheels wont be as tilted... man they should have some sort of self adjusting camber kits for this reason
wait nm.. it wouldn't work anyways cause you would have problems with it rubbing since the tires wouldnt tuck...

It depends on how much the install is, how many batteries you run and what kit you go with. Pro Hopper is the best, CCE also makes a good kit. If you go with hydros spend the money on accumulators...it will ride like a caddy with them.
Ok....like everything it depend on the quality you want....
But just wondering about aprox prices...for a normal setting...not side to side...just front back with accumulator ( why not....do it great or dont do it... ) A great setup without being the best...to have the look with a smotther ride....!

What is the difference for someone like me that don't know about hydro and air suspension??? I know that it is air and oil...but in the installation....in the maintenance.....they do the same job at the end no?

parts
air: compresser, tank, valves, bag/cylinder that replaces both shock and spring(well for our cars)
dro: batteries, pumps/dumps, cylinders and springs, cylinders replace shock internals. from my understanding, you trim the springs, use the cylinders as a top perch to raise/lower the car.
maintence, i would think air is a little bit easier to maintain. cause its just air. compressers fill up the tanks with air. dro, you have not one but a couple batteries in the trunk. i dunno air just seems safer and more simple.
end result.. they both have their good and bad.
it's easier to hop, do "tricks" with dro.
air is mainly just for lower/raising.
i've heard the ride with air is better then dro.
i dont know too much about hydraulics so i'm sure alex could tell you more then i.

With juice you need to charge your batteries about every two weeks. this will vary by how much you play with them and the batts you have. You will also change the seals in the stroke about every 6 months. I have been in bagged trucks and juice cars and the ride was about the same. I like hydros because you get more lift, its faster, it doesnt run out, and its cheaper. for more info check out :

only on the front? haha thats ghetto... it depends on the setup.. cheapest would be like 700 but then you could only raise/lower really slow, no preset switches, just a manual one. so you have to hold the button down till your desire height..
most expensive could be like 1500. but i would say a nice decent setup would run 1100.
