Truhart Coilover Issues
Truhart Coilover Issues
I bought a new set of truhart coilovers. After the installation I noticed that the car seems to not stay straight when driving. It feels like it constantly want to pull to the right or left and I have to force the steering wheel to stay straight. I also noticed it will also at time pull to where it pickups uneven road surfaces. The last issue I'm having is the coilovers seem to make spring binding noises when I turn left or right at a stop or low speeds. The car is on oem civic wheels with 195/50R15 Falken Ziex tires. I also got an alignment done and it's still the same. Anyone have any recommended fixes for these issues? Thanks
Re: Truhart Coilover Issues
So i took the car to another shop to have it double checked. Apparently the truhart coilovers are as poorly made as maxpeedingrods. As you see in the picture the car isn't that low, but both shops told me to get the rear to match the front height the spring would move freely with no preload. And to get the rear coilovers to have preload raises the height on the rear which wouldn't match the height that I want. Has anyone else dealt with this issue before? Are these Tru-Hart coilovers junk? I'm honestly just ready to put the stock suspension back on and just forget lowering it. I've already wasted money on two different brands of coilovers and I don't really want to spend anymore money. I know buying the maxpeedingrods was my own fault for buying super cheap, but I researched the truharts before buying and saw alot of reviews about them being a good entry level coilover (which seems to be bullshit).

Re: Truhart Coilover Issues
honestly, we don't have much info on tru-hart.
They came up as good stock replacement (even OEM part?)
you can try to lower the front until springs touch
