suspension upgrade
suspension upgrade
i have a 02 civic lx coupe, now, i live in a city with some street that are rough in areas, now i have stock suspension on the car, and am wondering if upgrading to new stuts or something else would help to improve the ride quality, if so can you recommend me to what is best
Re: suspension upgrade
what do you mean by improve the ride quality are your struts blown is it really bouncy. because if you just want a smoother ride nothing is going to be better then stock. if you have larger wheels that would cause a harder ride because of reduced sidewall. the stock wheel size reduces alot of impacts.

Re: suspension upgrade
tokico blues would greatly improve your ride quality. they are built much better than stock struts and pair very very well with stock springs (if you dont want to lower your car)

I have an 11' GX
22K miles
I'm looking at new tires and rims and upgrading the syspension.
I'm in So Cal and I scrape every parking stop and many shopping center entrances.
I know most people like it lower, but I'd like to go up a tad.
Any suggestions or comments are appreciated.

Re: suspension upgrade
All stock. I looked at Eibach Civic components online. They only had springs and sway bars. My suspension is like a brick.
I also posted a question in the Best Tire thread .... Should I go to a larger rim and a tire with a larger section width?
Thanks for the reply.
