Please I need Real Answers
Alright guys I need some serious answers and help here. I found out today that my factory shock is leaking so it's time to drop it and get some new shocks. I know very little about this process so I need to know what all I need to buy. I know I"m going with the Eibach Sportkit and Tokico Blue/HP setup. Now do I need to get some struts or does the Shock take care of that? If so what kind? Do I need to get new mounts and Bearings or Bushings to go with these new shocks and springs? Please help me out with some answers guys. Thanks for all your help.

The shcoks are the struts
New mounts and top bearings - yes.
bushings - check them for damage like cracks. If needed, change them - compliance bushing most likely will need new one.
Rear camber kit - they are the upper arms in our civics. Look for example the skunk2 kit to have an idea. not sure which ones are best, i use the skunk2 and rear camber set to 0 at ride height.

Like stated above the shocks are the struts, they are the same thing except people have different names for them. And yes you will need new top mounts for them not sure but I think your stock ones will work. If you go lower thean 2 inches then grab a camber kit while you are at it.

When I installed the blues on my car, I re-used my top mounts and bearings.. I'd recommend a camber kit if lowering at all

yeah, agree, but it is always the "What if?" with older cars, so I just threw my 2 cents. since it was a PITA to do again... I am actually lucky, when i get back to US, i will be back to having a spare car (an 01 Miata), so i can afford to have one car parked for a while... so i can disassemble one and pray that the other will not cause troubles (Murphy's law and all!
) while the other is out of comission.
