What to do Suspension wise..
Hey guys i posted this question in my other thread but i guess no one looked at it, but yeah heres the background info. Im running 215/45/17's and i dont want to drop so low that i will have to roll my fenders, yet i still want a nice drop. Which should i do? like which is the best bang for the buck, less hassle, install etc. Like also as far as buying camber, alignments, and balancing and rotating, which would be a better application for me. I dont entend to Auto X, but i do take turns pretty hard
ok heres the choices
TEIN Basic Coilovers (Cheapest is $870)
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/TEIN-...QQcmdZViewItem
TOKICO Shocks and Springs (cheapest is $490)
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/TOKIC...spagenameZWDVW
Also feel free to add other combo's or other options if u see it fit.

$750 for Ksports (jlb motorsport), with front camber plates...you'll need a camber kit, but it ends up around $850 for everything and you've got more adjustability then the basics.

tokicos and stechs. i have that setup and have 40s on there. theres enough gap that 45s will fit w/o any problem...actually i was gona get them. id recommend that setup for a DD
Re: What to do Suspension wise..
get some tein basics, my step dad had them on his spec v before he switched to nismo, and they were really nice. plus i can help you install whatever you get
Re: What to do Suspension wise..
im runnin 215 45 17 on tokico blue and stech... only thing is i still roll my fenders... theres a chance to rub once you put weight in there.. i had about 400 pounds inthe back, thats including subs, box and 2 people and it rubbed a bit after i rolled...
now i rolled it some more and its fine.. only thing i need to do is find a sticker that says "no fat chicks"

i've been through some suspensions now...i have to say you get your money's worth...if u want a good comfortable for street suspension than i say get tokico's with lowering springs, but if you are looking for a little performance yes tein basics are a good choice for daily street driving...but if you have some cash to spend than by all means i say go with HKS hyper max rs-II for the dc5 or some custom JIC Magic FLT-A2's....and if you're willing to spend 3g's on coilovers get some Toda Fightex for full race/track coilovers

I have been rolling on Dspecs and sportlines for almost a month now and I love the ride but wish the drop was a little more. Roads here in Hawaii suck ***

^ call some shops- thats the only way your going to get an accurate answer, plus No1 wants to help a thread jacker... who revived a dead thread.
A better question would be what did LT ever end up doing?

I haven't done anything yet but save lol, see my sig.
But decision wise, i think imma go with the tokico's with another set of springs. I say this because i really dont wanna drop it that low because i will be putting on the OEM lip kit, and with the roads here, and at my college, my 215/45's should help a little, but yea i dont wanna go that low. With the teins, they say its a 1.8 i believe, and with the tokico's it depends on the srpings. I will prolly go with some springs that only drop about 1 inch or so.
