Rep Power: 0 Wow, that's a naaasty failure.
Can you give us some details?
Any previous crash damage on that side?
Looks like a Progress front sway (hmmm)
Springs/coilovers?
Dropped?
This has me worried about my mods for autocross...

Rep Power: 0 I'm a bit leary of the Progress bar because it could potentially put high bending loads on the middle of the LCA, but only if it's used with soft springs. The OP has very stiff coilovers, so it wouldn't be an issue.
Anyone have more info?

Rep Power: 379 if the sway bar was still connected, i think there would have been some seriously worse damage done to the underbody

Rep Power: 0 Ehh, my theory is all washed up. No way acceleration loads are going to be any worse than braking loads.
More likely stiff suspension+low profile tires+big pothole. Did you hit anything really hard recently? Pothole, sharp bump or something?
